Algarve Retains Title of Best Golf Destination in Continental Europe

Readers of the renowned British magazine Today's Golfer have once again voted the Algarve as the Best Golf Destination in Continental Europe. This is the fourth year in a row it has claimed the title.

Regarded as the most important – and well-respected - golf magazine in the UK, Today’s Golf Annual Travel Awards have now handed out a grand total of nine honours to the Algarve.

João Fernandes, President of Algarve Tourism, said of this latest accolade "this is excellent news for the region and a huge source of pride for all those who work in the golf tourism industry in Algarve and who, on a daily basis, make it a priority to offer the best possible experience to their visitors.”

As recently as October 2019, the region was named Best Golf Destination in the World for 2020 by the International Association of Golf Tourism Operators, with many more awards anticipated for the coming months.
